Ensuring a plug-in is loaded

InDesign includes a plug-in configuration dialog that shows your current plug-in configuration. Your 65bit plug-ins should all be listed in this dialog:

Macintosh
Select 'Configure Plug-ins...' from the InDesign application menu

Windows
Select 'Configure Plug-ins...' from the InDesign 'Help' menu

The 'Configure Plug-ins' dialog will show all plug-ins by default - the check boxes at the bottom of the dialog will filter the list. Ensure that 'Enabled', 'Third Party' and 'Optional' are all checked.

If you are having a problem with a particular plug-in, select it in the list and press the 'Show Info...' button:

Make a note of any error messages shown at the bottom of this dialog, and include them in any correspondence with 65bit.

Resolution

  • Ensure you downloaded the correct version (platform) for the plug-in you require - Macintosh downloads should be Stuffit files (.sit); Windows are Zip (.zip) files.
  • Ensure the plug-in is inside of your InDesign 'Plug-ins' folder
